The Foundation continues to manage the program directed to the retired employees of the Zobel family.

This program tremendously helped these retired employees ages between sixty-two (62) to ninety-three (93) years old who now have complex needs for them to have comfortable and worry-free life. A total of nineteen (19) retirees received support through Senior Citizens’ Assistance Program for 2018. However, Eufronio Gozano lost his fight with cancer at the age of ninety-three (93) last March.

The most common illnesses among the beneficiaries are arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, influenza, pneumonia and shingles. For this reason, the Foundation intervened through providing health sessions teaching them to make healthy lifestyle choices like quitting smoking, drinking alcohol and losing weight, can help avoid senior health risks and the need to be physically active and healthy diet. Along with this, the Foundation also organized geriatric care management sessions with the beneficiaries’ family/caregivers in order to better respond to the needs of the elderly.
