COASTAL CLEAN UP & MANGROVE PLANTING WITH DLSZ
The E. Zobel Foundation has established a longstanding partnership with the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School through its Social Action Office. The foundation has made significant contributions to the school's community services and student research projects. In line with its commitment to environmental conservation, DLSZ has launched several projects to support this cause.
As part of International Coastal Cleanup Month, DLSZ has introduced the "Coastal Focal" project. This aimed at involving students in preserving coastal areas through volunteer clean-up activities. Moreover, the High School Student Representative Coordinating Council (SRCC) 2025 has initiated the "Mangrove Planting" project to collectively plant trees and rejuvenate the environment.
Held in Sitio Calambuyan, Barangay Sta. Ana, Calatagan, Batangas last September 28, 2024 (Saturday) through coordination and partnership with the Foundation, this program was attended by DLSZ students, DLSZ-SAO Staff, members of the SAPSAP Organization, and other EZF Staff.
Following the initiative, participants engaged in a tour experience at the Museo Enrique Zobel to gain a broader understanding of the municipality and its founder, Don Enrique Zobel.
